ISRO: Both spacecraft of Spadex mission were brought within a distance of 3 meters.

New Delhi: India will very soon create a new record in space. ISRO’s SpaDeX satellites have come very close to each other. These two satellites were initially 15 meters apart and then the distance between them became 3 meters. Currently, preparations for docking are underway. These two satellites SDX01 and SDX02 are being brought back. Now after analyzing the data the docking process will be completed.

  • This mission was successfully launched with the help of PSLV-C60 rocket.

The objective of the Space Docking Experiment mission is to demonstrate docking technology in space. Which is important for India’s future space efforts. This mission will determine the success of the space station and Chandrayaan-4. In this mission, one satellite will capture and dock with another satellite. This will also make servicing and refueling in orbit possible. ISRO successfully launched this mission with the help of PSLV-C60 rocket from Sriharikota, Andhra Pradesh on 30 December.

  • Future space missions will be decided based on

ISRO is waiting for the signal from the Indian ground station for docking. Earlier its date was 7 January. But due to technical problem it was postponed till January 9. This mission, launched from Satish Dhawan Space Center in Sriharikota, includes two small satellites. The weight of each is approximately 220 kg. This mission is a huge experiment for ISRO, because future space missions will be decided on this basis.

  • Will be done to build our own space station like NASA

By successfully launching this mission, ISRO has created history in the world of space. With this, India has become the fourth country in the world to have space docking technology. This docking-undocking technique will be used in Chandrayaan-4 mission. The technology of this mission will be used to build our own space stations like NASA. This technology is also necessary for satellite service, interplanetary missions and sending humans to the moon.
