India created a new history in space! ISRO’s ‘Bahubali’ Bluebird-2 Satellite launched from rocket- VIDEO
Bluebird Block-2 Satellite Launch: The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) launched American company AST Spacemobile’s next-generation communication satellite Bluebird Block-2 through its most powerful Rocket Launch Vehicle Mark-3 (LVM3-M6) at 8:54 am on Wednesday. Under this mission, ISRO will place the satellite in Low Earth Orbit (LEO) through its heavy rocket LVM3. This launch is considered a major achievement for ISRO from both technical and commercial point of view.
This commercial launch was done under the agreement between NewSpace India Limited (NSIL), the commercial arm of ISRO, and AST Spacemobile. Weighing approximately 6,100 kg, the Bluebird Block-2 satellite is the heaviest payload ever carried to LEO by LVM3. Earlier this record was in the name of CMS-03 satellite, launched on November 2 this year, which weighed about 4,400 kg.
