ISRO SpaDeX Docking Success: ISRO connects two satellites in space; India became the fourth country to achieve this feat
SpaDeX Docking Update: Indian Space Research Organization i.e. ISRO has surprised the whole world with its another success after Chandrayaan-3 and Solar Mission. ISRO on Thursday successfully completed the process of docking two satellites under the SpaDeX (Space Docking Exercise) mission. Earlier on Sunday, January 12, two satellites were brought closer by 3 meters. With the successful docking, India has become the fourth country after America, Russia and China to achieve this feat.

Earlier on Sunday, ISRO had given an update for Space Docking Exercise (SpaDeX Docking) through X Post. Regarding the Spadex docking, ISRO had earlier written, “At a distance of 15 meters we can see each other clearly, we are just 50 feet apart for an exciting handshake.” After this the organization wrote, “A test attempt was made to reach both the satellites first 15 meters and then 3 meters. Both are being taken back to a safe distance. Now the data will be analyzed first, after which the docking process will be completed.”

Big meaning of this success of ISRO
Let us tell you that Space Docking Exercise (SPADEX) mission was launched by ISRO on 30 December. During this, the PSLV C60 rocket took off from the first launchpad of Satish Dhawan Space Center at Sriharikota carrying two small satellites, SDX01 (Chaser) and SDX02 (Target) and 24 payloads. Just 15 minutes later, two small spacecraft were launched into a circular orbit of 475 kilometers. His weight was 20 kg.
Success in Space Docking Exercise (SpaDeX Docking) means many things for India. This will help in future missions such as the Indian Space Station and landing astronauts on the Moon. Docking technique in space is necessary when multiple rocket launches are needed to achieve common mission objectives.
