A very shocking and astonishing case has come to light from Mathura. Mathura Police of Uttar Pradesh has arrested Abhishek Mishra, a hi-tech Baba who gives online sermons from Govardhan area. Everyone is stunned to know the background of this accused, because he has studied mechanical engineering from the country’s prestigious institute IIT Roorkee.
But leaving behind the package worth lakhs and a brilliant engineering degree, he chose the path of spirituality. Now Abhishek has been accused of ensnaring many educated girls in the name of giving them religious guidance and knowledge and physically exploiting them.
Game of physical exploitation in the name of ‘Gandharva marriage’
This entire black act was exposed when the police registered a case on the complaint of a victim. The victim has made very shocking allegations in her statement. She says that accused Abhishek Mishra made her believe that both of them had ‘Gandharva marriage’. Gandharva marriage is considered to be a type of love marriage of ancient times. By luring her into the maze of spiritual and religious beliefs, the accused forcibly had physical relations with the victim.
Accused’s mobile revealed many dreadful secrets
According to Mathura SP Dehat Suresh Chandra Rawat, initial police investigation has revealed that more than 24 girls were in direct contact and influence of this accused Baba. When the police took action and seized the mobile phone of the accused, even the investigating officers were shocked. A huge amount of objectionable pictures, videos, chat records and many digital documents were found inside the phone. The police are now taking the help of digital forensic experts to analyze all this data and bring out the truth, so that it can be known exactly when and where these videos were recorded.
Why did B.Tech and MBA pass girls fall into the trap?
The most surprising aspect of this entire matter is that most of the girls who came in contact with the accused are not illiterate but highly educated. These include working and corporate women who have obtained higher degrees like B.Tech, M.Tech and MBA. The police is now investigating this point in depth as to how a section of people with an educated and professional background fell into the trap of this impostor.
It is believed that due to Abhishek’s IIT background and his very effective communication skills, people used to trust him blindly. Abhishek Mishra used to give online sermons on Bhagavad Gita and other religious topics among the youth through internet and social media platforms. Many videos of him performing bhajan-kirtan and playing mridang are already viral on YouTube and Facebook.
Complaint was made 6 months ago also, 3 girls found in raid
After checking the police records, it was found that about 6 months ago also a family had filed a written complaint against this Baba. Now the police is connecting the links of the case by combining old complaints and fresh inputs. Apart from this, during the raid conducted in Govardhan area, the police also recovered three girls from the spot. The police are interrogating these three girls and their statements are being recorded so that the entire truth of this racket can be revealed to the world.
