Nadda also hit out at Shiv Sena (Ubatha) chief Uddhav Thackeray and said the BJP-led NDA had won the 2019 Maharashtra Assembly elections, but Thackeray, in his greed for power, had betrayed and insulted the mandate. He said, “BJP had also won the 2019 elections, but Uddhav Thackeray betrayed us. Maharashtra has rejected him in these elections. Today people have rejected them and given the message that they are with Modi, Mahayuti, BJP, (Eknath Shinde's) Shiv Sena and NCP (Ajit Pawar).
