For the first time, Jay Shah also spoke about the challenges he faced during the T20 World Cup in India and Sri Lanka and reiterated that no individual team but the organization comes first. He said, “This ICC World Cup was very important because, before the start of the tournament, there was a lot of discussion about whether certain teams would participate or not and how the World Cup would be played. As the ICC president, I can say that no team is bigger than the organization and no one team makes the organization. The organization is the combination of all the teams.”
