His statement “Thank you very much for giving respect after being insulted” went viral on social media in no time.

Now Sara herself has come forward on this whole issue and told what happened that forced her to say so much on this special occasion. According to Sara, the students were promised degrees in the ceremony, but even after the program was over, they were not given degrees.

Sara Ismail told that Haridev Joshi Journalism University is the only government university, where the convocation ceremony was hosted, in which 271 students were called. Children of the batch of 2025-24 were included in this. They were told to come in the dress code.

Anger among students and parents

Sara further told in the video that students from all over Rajasthan had come with their parents. Thinking that they will get a degree, and their parents will be happy. The entire invitation was held, speeches were made, medals were given to the gold medalists and after that the program ended and they were not given degrees. Everyone became very angry. Parents were very disappointed. Parents felt bad that they had come so far just to see their children getting their degree, but no one wanted to stay for just 15 minutes. Neither the administration nor the people giving degrees.

Deputy CM and Vice Chancellor were brought back

Everyone was disappointed to see the mismanagement of the university. Many students ran after those who gave degrees. The Governor had left by then. After this the Deputy CM and Vice Chancellor were brought back so that they could give him the degree. Sara says that if we have worked hard for that degree for three years, then it is our right.

Sara further told that she has prepared the project and submitted it. If the fees are paid, then they deserve the degree with full respect. He said that his statement was not personal. Those were the words of all the students who were present there. In such a situation, when she went on stage to receive her degree, her anger burst out. It was the anger of all the students that we all had been humiliated and you were pretending to give us respect by giving us degrees.
