America's legendary boxer Mike Tyson returned to professional boxing after almost 20 years. However, his return was not memorable. The judges unanimously declared Jake the winner.
Paul defeated Tyson as the judges scored the fight in his favor 80–72, 79–73, 79–73. Tyson returned to the ring for the first time since losing to Kevin McBride on June 11, 2005. However, “The Baddest Man on the Planet” clearly struggled to keep pace with Jake “The Problem Child” Paul and was behind the eight ball from the start.
Let us tell you that Tyson was ahead in the first two rounds, but he lagged behind in the remaining six rounds. There is an age difference of 30 years between Jake and Tyson. This was the seventh defeat of Mike Tyson's professional boxing career.
The match started with Jake Paul making his first entrance singing “In the Air Tonight” by Phil Collins. They entered the arena in a green convertible truck and on the back of the truck was a cage with a pigeon inside. Paul adopted a silver theme for the occasion and wore silver gloves, robe, shoes and trunks. He was also accompanied by his brother Logan Paul.
Tyson, on the other hand, came wearing his traditional black poncho. They entered the ring with the song “We Don't Give a F…” playing in the background.
The match began with the traditional announcements by referee Mark Callow-Oy. Paul started from the blue corner and Tyson from the red corner.
