Jalen Brunson achieves Knicks history in big win over Bucks

Already able to make a case as one of the greatest New York Knicks players ever, Jalen Brunson made history while leading his team to a dominating win on Friday night.

The Knicks’ leader scored 27 points as part of an incredibly efficient shooting performance in New York’s 127-98 victory over the Milwaukee Bucks. Brunson connected on 11-of-17 shots from the field for 64.7% and even went 4-of-6 from long range.

But Brunson, 29, will likely remember this game as more than just a regular big game. He surpassed 7,000 points as a Knick, becoming the fastest to reach the milestone in franchise history.

Jalen Brunson hit the milestone quicker than any Knick in history

Brunson hit the mark in the first quarter of his 265th game as a member of the Knicks, showing his individual prowess since signing on as a free agent in 2022 after spending four seasons as an ascending star in Dallas with the Mavericks.
