Jalgaon to Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar highway will connect Samriddhi!! Connectivity of North Maharashtra will increase!!

Khandesh Expressway: An important update has come out regarding the development of Jalgaon district and the connectivity of North Maharashtra. The Jalgaon to Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar highway will be connected to the Mumbai-Nagpur Samriddhi Highway. Minister of State Meghna Sakore-Bordikar said in the Legislative Council. Hence, it will be of great benefit to the passengers going to Marathwada and Vidarbha from North Maharashtra. Transport and communication in North Maharashtra and Vidarbha will see benefits.

Legislative Parishad MLA Eknath Khadse raised a question in this regard. When the Hon’ble Chief Minister came to Jalgaon i.e. in the recent elections he said that we will build a six-lane road from Jalgaon to Sambhajinagar so that prosperity can be connected through that route. So the state government is considering such a proposal or not? If so, in how many days will it be approved? Are you going to implement the honorable Chief Minister’s announcement? Eknath Khadse asked this question.

Answering this, Meghna Bordikar said, the 105 km Khandesh Expressway from Jalgaon to Sambhajinagar will connect to Samriddhi and the DPR of the road is being prepared by the Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation and after the DPR, the next process will be done. This project will provide interconnectivity between Nashik and Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar and the state government has decided to connect all the talukas of the state to the highway.

Meanwhile, this highway will significantly reduce the distance between Jalgaon and Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar. Current route takes more time due to turns, traffic between villages and signals. New straight and wide highway can reduce journey by 1 to 1.5 hours. This gap will not only be reduced in terms of time, but a new era of communication between North Maharashtra and Marathwada will begin. Jalgaon is famous for its banana production, while Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar is an industrially developed town. Faster transport will facilitate transportation of agricultural produce, fruits and industrial goods.
