Jalna-Nanded Highway: The project of this highway in Marathwada will speed up; will be directly linked to prosperity
Jalna-Nanded Highway | In the last few years, road works are going on in Maharashtra. Construction of new highways and flyovers is underway. As the roads are getting stronger, the transport and communication in the state has also got a good speed. Now the work of another route in Maharashtra is going to speed up. Yes, the work of Jalna-Nanded Expressway connecting Mumbai to Nagpur Samriddhi Highway is going to speed up now. Revenue Minister Chandrasekhar Bawankule has directed to complete the process of land acquisition in Parbhani district for this highway in the next seven days.
A high-level meeting was held in the Ministry to review the pending matters of land acquisition in Parbhani district, an important milestone on the Jalna-Nanded Expressway. The meeting was attended by Minister of State Meghna Sakore-Bordikar along with senior officials and administrative officers from Revenue, Public Works and Water Conservation Departments. During this meeting, Chandrasekhar Bawankule reviewed the progress of the project ‘package-wise’ and directed to take immediate steps where work is still pending. Jalna-Nanded Highway
Land acquisition orders have already been issued for ‘Package 5’ in Parbhani district; However, the officials told the Minister that the process of getting physical possession of the required land is still pending. However, for this ambitious project that accelerates the development of Parbhani district, Bawankule instructed to think positively about the demands of the farmers and take them into confidence and take further action immediately. To know about the current land acquisition status, out of the total 256.42 hectares of land acquired in Selu taluka of Parbhani district, 167.46 hectares have been acquired. Out of total 69.82 hectares in Jintur taluka, 60.02 hectares area has been completed.
