Jammu and Kashmir: Drang waterfall of Gulmarg frozen, crowd of tourists gathered to see the beautiful view.

Srinagar, 12 January. Since the beginning of January, cold has been increasing in different areas of Jammu and Kashmir. The temperature has been recorded below zero at many places, but even in the bone-chilling winter, the enthusiasm of tourists is not diminishing. Tourists are enjoying the beautiful valleys in Srinagar, Pahalgam, Gulmarg and Sonmarg. Meanwhile, Drang waterfall in the northern part of Baramulla district has frozen due to falling temperature and a huge crowd of tourists was seen to see this captivating scene.

Drang Waterfall present in the northern part of Baramulla district is a favorite spot of tourists. Every year tourists come from different parts of India to see the frozen waterfall in the month of January. There has been heavy snowfall in Baramulla for a long time and everything from waterfalls to rivers have frozen. The mountain peaks are covered with white sheets of snow and this captivating natural scene is attracting the tourists.

Huge crowd at the waterfall on Monday

A huge crowd was seen at Drang Falls on Monday. Tourists are taking selfies with the frozen waterfall and also playing in the snowfall. Poonam, a female tourist, said that the view after the snowfall has become very good and the photos and videos are also coming out quite nice amid the natural views. He said that the people here are very nice and supportive and we are not facing any kind of problem.

Another tourist said, ‘I travel to many areas of the country and have seen many types of waterfalls, but this is the first time I have seen such a frozen and unique waterfall. Where the behavior and culture of the people is very different and unique, it does not seem that we have come away from home. He appealed to the people and said that Kashmir is very beautiful and if you want to travel somewhere then definitely come to Kashmir.

Tourists from Maharashtra told that they were planning to come to Kashmir for a long time, but were waiting for snowfall. Seeing snow falling from the sky is a soothing sight. Everyone must visit Kashmir once.
