Jana Overseer: The Canadian distributor of the Vijay-starrer Jana SupervisorYork Cinemas, took to social media to provide an update on the film’s release plans. Jana Supervisorwhich is directed by H Vinoth, is Vijay’s last film before he retires for a career in politics. The film was set to release on January 9, but due to issues related to lack of issuance of a censor certificate by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC), the release was postponed.
Through their X handle, York Cinemas announced“Please note that the movie Jana Supervisor will not be releasing before April 30th. If you have any pending tickets and your refund has not yet been processed, kindly contact our theatres to have it arranged at the earliest.”
