What sustainable option would you like to suggest for the modern bride?
If you are looking for a sustainable option for your wedding, then you can wear your grandmother's and mother's lehenga. A mother can give her lehenga to her daughter or her daughter-in-law. With this you can pass on your legacy from generation to generation. You can take a new dupatta or blouse with the lehenga. Lehenga can also be given a new look by making trails or jackets. For this, help of a fashion designer can be taken.
Which colors are going to be in bridal wear in the year 2025?
Red color looks most beautiful on Indian brides and we can never get bored of this color. Along with red, wine, maroon and fuchsia are also very much liked in bridal wear. But if you are having a sundowner wedding in the afternoon then you can wear champagne gold. Fuchsia color is the hottest for destination weddings. Apart from this, you can choose multicolored lehenga. Nowadays, multicolored patches are preferred in lehengas. Mustard and maroon colored lehenga is also going to be in trend. Apart from this, rust color is also going to be liked a lot.
Whose bridal wear did you like best among the new brides of Bollywood?
For the last few years, designers have been working a lot on colors patterns. Everyone is designing such bridal wear which is made keeping the environment in mind. This is why every Bollywood bride is looking like a diva.
Whose style do you like best among celebs?
I like Kareena Kapoor's style the best in Bollywood. She looks stunning in every look and Sonam Kapoor has always been my favourite. Among today's actresses, I like the way Jhanvi Kapoor styles her clothes.
How can we glamorize saree?
Saree has always been one of the most beautiful and sexy attire. Our queens and empresses have always worn sarees, even our ladies have been shown in sarees. Saree looks glamorous when you wear it with bralettes, jackets and heavy blouses. You can look stylish even by wearing drape and finjis saree.
What kind of sarees do you like?
I like hand made sarees very much because it is our tradition. But if we talk about modern sarees, the dabka work blouse with thin border appeals to me a lot. To enhance this you can take a dushala on the side.
If you get a chance to design the bridal lehenga of any Bollywood celebrity, who would it be?
For me, every woman is a celebrity but if we talk about Bollywood, Jhanvi Kapoor is my favourite. I would like to design her bridal lehenga.

Grihalakshmi is a vintage. This is a very old magazine, when there was no one else, there was Grihalakshmi. She has always lived up to the expectations of her readers.
