Jasprit Bumrah and Rishabh Pant engage in hilarious banter during a net session in Perth

Jasprit Bumrah and Rishabh Pant was ere engaged in hilarious banter during a net session in Perth ahead of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy against Australia. Pant was seen bowling to Bumrah, and the two then had cheeky exchanges with bowling coach Morne Morkel, enjoying the conversation.

Bumrah and Pant’s performances will play a key role in India’s fortunes in the five-match series, which starts in Perth on November 22. The visitors played a warm-up game before the series opener. The BCCI shared a video of the banter between the two-star players.

“Your bowling action is like Hashim Amla,” Bumrah said to Pant.

‘You can’t get me out,’ Bumrah further said. “I have taken a wicket in first-class cricket,” Pant replied.

“Congratulations on that wicket, but now stop your taunts,” Bumrah again showed his sense of humor.

Bumrah played a couple of shots on Pant’s bowling and looked at ease. However, Pant claimed that the batter would have been caught in the deep on one of his shots.

“I have dimissed Bumrah in the nets and it is on record. You can ask Morkel,” the Keeper proclaimed.

“He took his wicket and bowled beautifully but there is always a but,” Morkel said.

Bumrah called Pant’s bowling action illegal.

“It was not out. It was four or two, and he thought he could place seven fielders there. He will not be allowed to bowl.

The social media channel shared the video with the caption:

“A contest that left Bowling Coach @mornemorkel65 in conundrum. Are you Team Bumrah or Team Pant?”

Bumrah will lead India in the Perth Test if Rohit Sharma is unavailable for the match due to personal reasons.
