Jasprit Bumrah: Team India’s star fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah has created history by making a brilliant comeback in the first ODI match played between India and England at Edgbaston. Indian fast bowler Mohammed Shami had achieved this feat in 4070 balls. At the same time, Kuldeep Yadav had completed 150 ODI wickets in 4513 balls. Now Bumrah has achieved this feat in 4605 balls.

Highest ODI wickets for India in England

By taking the wicket of England captain Harry Brook, Indian fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah has become the Indian bowler to take the most ODI international wickets on English soil. In this matter, Bumrah has left behind star all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja. Bumrah has taken 31 wickets so far in England. Whereas Jadeja has 30 wickets in his name.

Returned to ODI cricket after 968 days

Indian cricket team’s star fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah has made a comeback in One Day International after about 968 days from this match. Before this, Bumrah played his last ODI International match on 19 November 2023 in the final of the ODI World Cup. After this match, Bumrah has returned to ODI cricket in the first ODI match against England on 14 July 2026.
