Jasprit Bumrah wins battle vs Sam Konstas in 2nd essay, watch his cheeky celebration
New Delhi: Jasprit Bumrah removed Australian opener Sam Konstas with a brilliant inswinger in the second innings of the fourth Test between Australia and India at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) on Sunday, December 29. The Australian debutant who scored 60 runs in the first innings failed to replicate the heroics in the second innings.
In the seventh over, Bumrah bowled a back-of-length delivery seaming in from outside off, Konstas was caught in the crease as he looked to keep it out but left a big gap between bat and pad. The ball sneaked through that little gap and knocked his middle stump.
Top delivery, top celebration! 🤌

Konstas was seen getting involved with the crowd on many occasions when India batted in the first innings at the MCG. The 19-year-old became a hot topic in Australian media after scoring 60 runs off 65 balls when the hosts came to bat on day one at the iconic MCG after winning the toss. He smashed six boundaries and two maximums during the knock and was aggressive against Bumrah.
