Jatahan: People forced to pass by holding their nose! A mountain of garbage becomes a problem on Jatahan-Katai Bharpurwa road.

Kushinagar. The piles of garbage spread on the Jatahan to Katai Bharpurwa road have now become a serious problem. Due to the foul smell emanating from the garbage accumulated on the border line of Katai Bharpurwa, life of the passers-by and local people has become difficult. The situation is such that the passengers passing through this route are forced to travel holding their noses. Local people say that garbage is being dumped here for a long time, but no concrete arrangements have been made for cleaning and proper disposal. This is not only polluting the environment but also having adverse effects on health. A live video regarding this problem is becoming increasingly viral on social media, in which the heap of garbage and the filth spreading from it can be clearly seen. After the video surfaced, anger among the people has increased and immediate action is being demanded from the administration.

It is noteworthy that the Panchayat has recently prepared plans for cleanliness and development under the new theme for 2025-26, but the ground reality is raising questions on these claims. Now it remains to be seen how long the concerned department takes action on this serious problem.
