Javed Akhtar clarified this fake video by sharing a long post on X (formerly Twitter). He wrote, “A fake video of mine is being circulated. It has a computer generated fake photo of me, in which a cap is visible on my head and it is being claimed that I have finally taken refuge in God. This is just nonsense.”
Threat of legal action
Further, Javed Akhtar said that he is considering taking this matter to the cyber police and taking action in the court against the people responsible. He clarified that he will hold those who created this fake news and forwarded it legally responsible for harming his reputation.
