JBL Bar MK2 Series launched: Powerful audio from 750W to 2470W with AI Sound Boost, know the price

JBL has launched the new Bar MK2 soundbar series in India on the occasion of its 80th anniversary celebrations. This lineup includes JBL Bar 1300MK2, JBL Bar 1000MK2, JBL Bar 800MK2 and JBL Bar 500MK2. All models come with Dolby Atmos and MultiBeam 3.0 technology, which gives users an immersive audio experience. High-end models also feature detachable wireless surround speakers, while output ranges from 750W to 2,470W.

Price and availability
The JBL Bar 1300MK2 is priced at ₹1,74,999, while the Bar 1000MK2 comes at ₹1,49,999. The price of Bar 800MK2 has been kept at ₹1,24,999 and Bar 500MK2 at ₹64,999. All these soundbars are available on JBL’s official website, select retail stores and e-commerce platforms across India.

Features and Specifications
All models in this series support Dolby Atmos, DTS and JBL’s MultiBeam 3.0 technology, which provides 3D sound experience.

JBL Bar 1300MK2:It comes with an 11.1.4 channel setup and outputs up to 2,470W. It has a dual 8-inch subwoofer.
JBL Bar 1000MK2: It has a 7.1.4 channel system, 960W output and 10-inch subwoofer.
JBL Bar 800MK2: It comes with a 7.1 channel setup and 780W output, with a 10-inch subwoofer
JBL Bar 500MK2: It has 5.1 channel setup and 750W output.

Audio technology and special features
JBL Bar 1300MK2, 1000MK2 and 800MK2 have detachable wireless surround speakers, while the 500MK2 has a fixed setup. The 1300MK2 and 1000MK2 feature up-firing drivers that deliver true Dolby Atmos sound, while the 800MK2 supports DTS Virtual:X with Dolby Atmos.

The entire lineup comes with JBL SmartDetails for better sound precision and PureVoice 2.0 for clear dialogue. AI Sound Boost feature is available only in 1300MK2, which makes the bass more powerful.

Smart features and connectivity
These soundbars support the JBL One app, making setup, EQ tuning, and software updates easy. It also works with streaming platforms like AirPlay, Google Cast, Spotify Connect, Tidal Connect and Roon Ready.

For connectivity, options like HDMI eARC, HDMI input, Bluetooth 5.3, Wi-Fi, optical input and USB are available. 4K Dolby Vision passthrough support is also provided in high-end models.
