Former Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s party Janata Dal-United has announced to contest the assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh on Saturday. The party said that it will hold conferences in every assembly and strengthen its organization. From the working president of the party to the ministers of Bihar government, they will campaign for the party in Uttar Pradesh, so that a positive image of the party can be presented at the grassroots level.

Meeting held in Co-operative Building

The state executive meeting of the party was held on Saturday in the Chaudhary Charan Singh auditorium of Sahakaritha Bhawan, in which Bihar government cabinet minister and JDU legislature party leader Shravan Kumar and other leaders participated. He said that our party has presented a model of good governance in Bihar.

State level conference will be held in Lucknow

He appealed to the workers to spread the party’s developmental thinking and public welfare schemes to every person. State President Anup Singh Patel said that after conferences at Mandal, District and Assembly level in Uttar Pradesh, a state level conference will be organized in Lucknow. National Executive President Sanjay Jha will also be present in this meeting.

Gave the responsibility of deciding the names of the candidates

Public relations and organizational programs will be organized at the Assembly, District and Mandal levels with senior party leaders and Bihar Government Ministers. All officials have been asked to finalize the names of potential and interested candidates. After the review, the party will decide in which assembly constituencies of Uttar Pradesh they have to contest elections.
