JEE Main Analysis 2025 January 24 Shift 2: Experts say paper was moderately challenging
New Delhi: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has concluded the Joint Entrance Examination (Main) shift 2 exam on January 24. The JEE Main Shift 2 exam was held from 3 pm to 6 pm. The Agency has announced that the JEE Main 2025 session 1 exam will be held on January 22, 23, 24, 28, 29 and 30.

According to Anil Kapasi, Co-Founder & Managing Director, Arihant Academy, said, “JEE Main question paper was moderately challenging. Mathematics was the most demanding section, while Physics and Chemistry were comparatively easier, with Chemistry being the most scoring.”
He added, ” Mathematics section was the toughest and required significant time. Key topics included Calculus, Algebra (Sequences and Series), and Vector & 3D Geometry. Physics ranged from moderate to difficult. The questions in Physics emphasized Mechanics, Thermodynamics, and Modern Physics, with a good mix of theory and numericals. Chemistry was the easiest and most NCERT-focused. Organic Chemistry (Reactions of Amines, Alcohols, and Phenols) and Inorganic Chemistry (Coordination Compounds, Periodic Trends) were prominently covered.”
