JEE Mains Session 2 City Slip: Big news is coming for millions of students who dream of studying engineering. The exam city slip for Session 2 of JEE Main 2026 is expected to be released very soon. The city slip will provide information about the city in which the students’ exam center will be located. This will make it easier for students to plan their travel and accommodations.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) is soon releasing the city intimation slip for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main Session 2. The city slip can be downloaded from the official website – jeemain.nta.ac.in. The Session 2 exam will be conducted in Computer-Based Test mode from April 2 to April 9 in cities across India and some cities abroad. Admit cards for the exam may be released four days before the exam begins.

Click on the ‘Session 2 City Intimation Slip’ link located under the ‘Candidate Activity’ board.
Enter your Application Number and Password.
Your City Slip will appear on the screen.
Download the city slip and take a printout for future use.
JEE Mains Session 1 Exam
The Session 1 exam was conducted from January 21st to January 29th in computer-based mode. The exam was held in two shifts each day – the morning shift from 9 AM to 12 PM and the afternoon shift from 3 PM to 6 PM.
According to the NTA’s official schedule, the Session 2 exam will be conducted across India from April 2nd to April 9th. In some cities outside the country, the exam will be conducted in computer-based mode. The exam will be conducted in two shifts (9 AM to 12 PM and 3 PM to 6 PM).
When will the JEE Main Admit Card be released?
Admit cards will be issued shortly after the city slip is issued. Without the admit card, candidates will not be allowed to appear for the exam. Admit cards are typically issued approximately three days before the exam. JEE Main Session 2 admit cards are expected to be issued in the last week of March.
