Jeh turns 5: Kareena Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan host Naruto-themed birthday bash; hide Taimur–Jeh’s faces; Alia Bhatt, Ranbir–Raha Kapoor skip celebrations

Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan’s younger son Jehangir turned 5 on February 21, 2026. The couple hosted a Naruto-themed party, which was attended by Saif Ali Khan’s sisters Soha Ali Khan and Saba Pataudi. Karisma Kapoor and family friend Neha Dhupia also attended the bash.

Soha and Saba took to Instagram to share photos from the birthday party. Jeh’s birthday photos show elder brother Taimur, aunt Soha, Saba, Karisma Kapoor and family friend Neha Dhupia posing for a candid picture. In the photos, Saba has covered Jeh’s face with an emoji, while Kareena and Saif are all smiles.

In one picture, Jeh is seen standing near a large three-tier birthday cake decorated with Naruto-themed cookies, while Kareena and Karisma are standing beside him, and Saif, Soha and Saba are seen on the other side. Taimur is seen standing close to his younger brother Jeh.

The next photo shows Kareena holding Jeh as he is standing on the chair holding cookies in his hand.

In her caption, Soha wrote, “Blink, and he’s five. Cake-cutting photos have to be chaotic. Can see the cake – birthday boy, not so much! (But we could hear him) And through it all is Bebo looking as cool as a cucumber – how??!!”

Saba also shared a birthday wish for her nephew on Instagram, writing, “To my darling JehJaan, wishing you a happy 5th birthday. I love you to the moon and back my fierce warrior. Stay you forever. Love always, Buajaan.”

As the photos went viral, netizens enquired why Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor and Raha were not invited to the birthday bash, as the party was hosted in Mumbai.

Kareena also wished Jeh and took to Instagram to share a bunch of pictures of her boys ‘planting trees for his birthday. Dressed in casual outfits, Saif and his sons are seen gently doing their work with the help of the house staff. One of the pictures also features Kareena Kapoor. Along with the pictures, Bebo wrote, “Birthday’s are all about planting trees and being free. Happy Birthday, Son… Jeh Baba.”

Saif and Kareena tied the knot in 2012 after falling in love during the filming of Tashan in 2008. They welcomed their first son, Taimur, in 2016, followed by Jeh in 2021.

Saif was previously married to Amrita Singh, with whom he shares two children, actors Sara Ali Khan and Ibrahim Ali Khan.

Ever since, Saif was attacked at his home earlier last year in 2025. Kareena and Saif have decided that their sons Taimur and Jeh will not be clicked by paps, the couple have refrained themselves from showing thier sons’ faces even when they post family oictures on Instagram.

Kareena will next be seen in Meghna Gulzar’s upcoming investigative crime thriller Daayra, which also stars Prithviraj Sukumaran.

Saif Ali Khan will next lead the investigative drama Kartavya, backed by Shah Rukh Khan’s Red Chillies Entertainment, where he plays a police officer. He is also set to appear in Hum Hindustani alongside Pratik Gandhi.
