Jennifer Garner opens up about learning new skill for each acting project

Jennifer Garner has recently opened up about learning crazy things for her acting job.

The revelation came as the actress, who stars as Hannah Hall and serves as an executive producer for season 2 of The Last Thing He Told Megot hang of a new skill and this time it’s boxing.

Speaking to PEOPLEJennifer shared that for season one, her character “would be turning wood so I spent months learning to turn wood at a lathe with this amazing guy, Aaron Hauser”.

“I just wanted to feel what that felt like. We did end up using it, but it was really just to feel the pace of it, the patience of it, and to try to help that infuse my system,” explained the 53-year-old.

However, this time, for season two, Jennifer knew her character had to prepare to fight so “I boxed a lot leading into it”.

Interestingly, this is not the first time that the Alias actress developed a skill for her role.

Earlier in November, Jennifer mentioned the “crazy things” she has done for her job in an Instagram post.

“I am grateful that my job asks me to learn bits of so many things,” she wrote alongside a slew of pictures from her different acting projects.

She added, “Grateful for patient teachers. And am grateful for everyone here who plays along.”

Meanwhile, the thriller, based on Laura Dave’s bestselling novel of the same name, has already aired new episodes on Apple TV on February 20.
