The 55-year-old singer filed for divorce from the 52-year-old actor in August 2024, after just over two years of marriage. She allegedly submitted the divorce papers to the Los Angeles County Superior Court on August 20, 2024, and cited April 26, 2024, as the date of their separation. It is being said that Jennifer has chosen to represent herself in the legal proceedings. Also, it is believed that the couple did not have a prenuptial agreement.
Amid the ongoing divorce, rumours suggest Jennifer is struggling emotionally. According to a timesofindia.com report, her friends are concerned about her increased alcohol consumption. It is speculated that Jennifer has turned to alcohol to cope with the emotional toll of the separation. Multiple sources have informed the media outlet that she appears to be relying on alcohol to ease her pain. This behavior has raised concerns among those close to her.
