What are your favorite weeknight dinners that keep things easy?
I cook a lot of salmon bowls and fajita bowls—my kids are really into bowls right now. I always make homemade guac and have guac and chips. I also like to do roasted chicken, I’ll do steak sometimes, and those are kind of my go-tos. I make pretty good breakfast too, so sometimes we’ll do breakfast for dinner. I’ll make a sweet crepe and then I’ll also do avocado toast with fried eggs, and that’s always fun.
Do you have a morning routine that you stick by, from when you wake up to your go-to breakfast?
I like to switch it up. On my ideal days, I start the morning with some type of mindfulness, so a meditation in bed is usually the first thing I do. Then I’ll have my coffee, or sometimes I’ll get my coffee and then do mindfulness. And then I usually like to work out, I’ll go to a class or I’ll do a workout in my gym at home. If I have time to have breakfast, I’ll do yogurt and berries, but if I don’t, a Luna bar is what I’ll grab on the way out the door if I’m running to something.
How do you like your coffee?
I drink my coffee with almond milk, and I try to put some collagen powder in there, too.
Could you talk more about Luna’s new “Easy to Love” campaign?
It’s really just about how it’s easy to love Luna bars because they taste great, and they’re made with really awesome ingredients that you can really trust. I was a fan of Luna prior to them coming to me; my kids like them, I like them, they’re great on the go and just having them in your bag. They’re a great pick-me-up snack, and I was just a genuine, authentic consumer and fan of the brand.

Favorite Luna bar flavors?
My favorite is LemonZest, but for something a little richer, I love the Nutz Over Chocolate granola bar. It’s very indulgent in the best way, but it also has 8 grams of protein. Then there’s the new berry bars, which are really nice to add into the mix, and they’re made with real fruit and berries.
Is protein a nutrient you focus on?
I’ve always been big on protein being a staple in my diet because I’ve always been pretty conscious about my health. Protein and vegetables have always been a priority for me.
What are some other snacks and drinks that you always have on hand to keep your family satisfied and energized?
I’ll have a little cooler in the backseat of my car that has just like sliced apples with almond butter, cleaned grapes and popcorn, so the kids always have something to snack on. And I always try to have water. We have many reusable water bottles. My kids play sports, and they need them for school, so it’s just great to have them on the go in my car.
