Said the land of Jharkhand a symbol of bravery and self-respect
During the meeting, CM Hemant Soren said that this sacred land of Jharkhand has been a living example of bravery, struggle and self-respect. Remembering all the tribal heroes and heroines including Dharti Aaba Bhagwan Birsa Munda, Dishom Guru Shibu Soren, he said that the tribal society has made historical contribution from the freedom struggle to the construction of modern India.
Culture, education and environmental protection said to be top priority
The Chief Minister made it clear that protecting the culture, tradition and rights of the tribal society is the top priority of the Jharkhand government. He proudly said that Jharkhand has become the first state in the country where tribal students are getting higher education abroad at government expense. Also, saving the environment for the protection of the nature worshiping tribal society is everyone’s shared responsibility.

The Chief Minister stressed that the biggest need of the day is to strengthen the tribal society economically, socially and educationally in the entire country. He assured, ‘Only a strong and self-reliant tribal society can become the foundation of a strong India of the future.’

Big announcement of nationwide public relations campaign
In the meeting, CM Hemant Soren announced that in the coming days, he himself will go to every corner of the country and conduct a massive public relations campaign to strengthen the rights and identity of the tribal society. He said that the tribal voice will no longer be limited to just struggle, but will reach the center of national policy-making.

Representatives from many states expressed support
Representatives from dozens of states including Gujarat, Maharashtra, Assam, West Bengal, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Manipur termed the tribal-friendly policies of the Jharkhand government as historic and assured full cooperation.
Emotional tribute was paid to Dishom Guru Shibu Soren in the program. On this occasion, hundreds of tribal leaders and workers including Minister Deepak Birua, Minister Chamra Linda, MLA Kalpana Soren, Ashok Chaudhary were present.
