Jharkhand government is going to tighten its grip on drug smugglers, task force will be formed in every district; Jammer also being prepared in jails

Jharkhand News: The issue of rapidly spreading illegal drugs trade in the state and increasing drug addiction among the youth was raised loudly in the Jharkhand Assembly on Saturday. Many MLAs demanded strict action from the government on this serious problem. On this, State Excise Minister Yogendra Prasad Mahato, while replying in the Assembly, said that the government is taking strict steps to stop the illegal trade of drugs and soon a special task force will be formed in all the districts of the state.

How will the task force work?

The minister said that this task force will monitor drug smuggling and illegal drug trade and will launch a campaign to eliminate such networks. Along with this, strict action will be taken against drugs by running intensive campaigns across the state with the help of police and related departments. The aim of the government is to save the youth from the clutches of drugs and completely eliminate the illegal drug trade in the state.

Issue of mobile network also raised

Meanwhile, BJP MLA from Jarmundi Devendra Kunwar raised the issue of misuse of mobile network in the jails of Jharkhand. He said that in the last session the government had talked about installing jammers in jails to block 4G or 5G networks, hence the progress made in this direction should be informed.

Excise Minister replied

On this, Minister Yogendra Prasad Mahato replied that soon jammers will be installed in the jails of the state to stop 4G network. Its objective is to prevent misuse of mobile phones inside the jail and to strengthen the security system.

Important announcements for students also

Let us tell you that on Friday, March 14, many important announcements were made in the House by the Jharkhand Government for the students and youth of weaker sections. Their objective was to provide better education and facilities. Minister Chamra Linda said that the Jharkhand government will buy a flat in Delhi, where the youth of Jharkhand will be given coaching for the preparation of IAS and other civil services examinations. The government believes that Delhi is the main center for preparation for Civil Services Examination in the country, hence students studying there can get a lot of benefit. This initiative is expected to provide better guidance to the poor and talented youth of the state.

Special coaching institute will be created

Apart from this, the government also announced a plan to create a special coaching institute for Scheduled Caste students. The minister said that a five-storey coaching institute is being built in Kamde, where SC category students will be able to prepare for competitive examinations. Modern facilities will be provided in this institute so that the students can get a good study environment.

There will be special arrangements for these students also

Special arrangements are also being made for Other Backward Class (OBC) students. The government announced that a coaching center for JEE and NEET preparation will be started in Nagara Toli in the name of martyr Nirmal Mahato. This will be of great help to students preparing for difficult competitive exams like engineering and medical.

Educational activities will also get a boost

The government also informed about a new scheme to promote cultural and educational activities. The minister said that three-storey ‘large Dhumkudiya’ buildings will be built in every district of the state. There will be a cultural center on the first floor of these buildings, a coaching center will be run on the second floor and a library will be built on the third floor. Its objective is to keep the youth connected with their culture along with education.
