CM Soren’s honor to ‘Goal Machine’ Anushka, playground to be built in village

Jharkhand News: Jharkhand’s international footballer and ‘Goal Machine’ Anushka Kumari reached the Chief Minister’s residence and paid a courtesy call on Chief Minister Hemant Soren. During this, the Chief Minister honored Anushka and assured all possible support from the state government for her bright future.

Anushka honored with Prime Minister’s National Children’s Award

Anushka Kumari has recently been honored with the Prime Minister’s National Child Award 2025. She is a resident of Ormanjhi block of Jharkhand and is bringing glory to the state and the country with her brilliant sports performance.

Encouraged by gifting sports kit

Chief Minister Hemant Soren presented a sports kit to Anushka during the meeting and praised her excellent performance at the international level. The Chief Minister said that there is no dearth of talented players in Jharkhand and the government will ensure that no player’s talent is suppressed due to financial reasons.

Modern playground will be built in village Rukka

The Chief Minister took a big decision regarding sports facilities in Anushka’s native village Rukka (Ormanjhi, Ranchi). He directed the district administration to develop modern sports grounds in the village, so that local children and players can get better facilities for practice.

Instructions to connect the family to all government schemes

The Chief Minister directed the Deputy Development Commissioner (DDC) to immediately connect Anushka’s family with all the welfare and social security schemes of the state government, so that the family can get economic and social security.

Jharkhand News: Journey from struggle to success

Anushka’s success story is an example of struggle and hard work. His father is disabled and his mother works as a daily wage laborer to run the family. Despite limited resources, Anushka never let her passion for football weaken.

Showed strength on international stage

Anushka won the title of Player of the Tournament by scoring maximum 7 goals in the SAFF Under-17 Championship held in Bhutan. Currently she is practicing at the residential football training center in Hazaribagh.

Will now represent India in Asia

Anushka will represent the Indian team in the Asian Under-17 Football Championship to be held in China in the coming March. This cooperation of the state government and the Chief Minister will become an inspiration not only for Anushka but also for other emerging players of Jharkhand.
