President Draupadi Murmu reached Ranchi by special plane on her three-day visit to Jharkhand. CM Hemant Soren greeted him warmly at Birsa Munda Airport and expressed his respect by presenting him a memento. The presence of CM Soren along with Governor Santosh Kumar Gangwar made this welcome even more special.

Grand convoy from airport to Lok Bhawan

The warm welcome given to the President by CM Hemant Soren at the airport was a matter of pride for the people of Jharkhand. The convoy reached Lok Bhawan amid tight security, where the President is scheduled to stay. This personal effort of Chief Minister Soren became a symbol of cultural and constitutional harmony in the state.

Key role in Ol Chiki Lipi centenary celebrations

The President reached Jamshedpur, where she attended the closing ceremony of the centenary celebrations of the Ol Chiki script of Santhali language. Chief Minister Hemant Soren was also present in this historic program and honored the cultural heritage along with the President. The active participation of the Chief Minister during the garlanding of the statue of Pandit Raghunath Murmu strengthened the solidarity among the tribal community.

Address at NIT Jamshedpur convocation ceremony

The President addressed the 15th convocation of NIT Jamshedpur. Chief Minister Hemant Soren’s support to the President during this period shows the state government’s commitment towards education and youth development. The presence of the Chief Minister made the program even more impressive.

The President reached Gumla, where she addressed the inter-state folk cultural gathering ‘Karthik Jatra’. Chief Minister Hemant Soren’s government further deepened the President’s love for Jharkhand by ensuring cooperation and security arrangements during this entire tour.
