Jharkhand Rajya Sabha Elections: NDA supported Parimal Nathwani and JMM candidate Baidyanath Ram won, Congress candidate Pranab Jha lost.

New Delhi. NDA supported candidate Parimal Nathwani has won the Jharkhand Rajya Sabha elections. Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) candidate Baidyanath Ram also won. At the same time, Congress candidate Pranab Jha has to face defeat.

NDA supported candidate Parimal Nathwani got 28 votes and Congress candidate Pranab Jha got only 20 votes. 3 votes were canceled during the election process. This is the fourth time that Parimal Nathwani has been elected as a member of the Upper House of Parliament.

After the election results came, Parimal wrote in a post, I am very grateful to have got the opportunity to serve for the fourth term as a Rajya Sabha member. This moment is very emotional for me because this will be my third term from Jharkhand. This is the land from where my parliamentary journey began in 2008. It is a matter of great pride and humility for me to return once again to my workplace.
