Jharkhand Road Accident: A very painful road accident took place in Latehar district of Jharkhand on Sunday. This accident happened in Orsa Valley of Mahuadand police station area, where a reserve bus coming from Chhattisgarh went out of control and overturned. According to the villagers, five people have died in this accident, although this has not been officially confirmed yet by the administration. More than 30 people have been injured in the accident, the condition of many of them is said to be critical.
All the passengers were going to attend the engagement.
According to the information, all the passengers traveling in the bus were coming from Maharajganj village of Balrampur district of Chhattisgarh to attend an engagement ceremony in Jharkhand. As soon as it reached the valley area, the bus lost its balance and overturned on the road. The accident was so severe that almost all the passengers on board the bus suffered injuries. There was hue and cry on the spot after the accident.
Villagers reached the spot
As soon as information about the accident was received, local villagers were the first to reach the spot and started relief work. Many injured were taken to the hospital in private vehicles. Due to the promptness of the villagers, the lives of many people could be saved. After this the police and administration team also reached the spot.
Administration and Health Department Alert
Mahuadand SDM Vipin Kumar Dubey alerted the administration and health department as soon as he got information about the accident. On his instructions, health teams from Mahuadand, Garu and Netarhat reached the spot with ambulances. The injured have been admitted to Mahuadand Hospital for first aid. Some seriously injured people have been shifted to other hospitals for better treatment.
Treatment of more than 30 injured continues
SDM Vipin Kumar Dubey said that at present more than 30 injured people are undergoing treatment. The condition of all the injured is being monitored. The exact number of dead and injured will be clear only after medical examination and report. Relief and rescue work is continuing continuously from the administration.
