Jhunjhunu: Police of Singhana police station of Jhunjhunu arrested Vijay alias Mintu (23). He is a resident of Ishqpura and was absconding for a long time. To arrest him, the police raided many possible places including Ilaka police station, Khetri Nagar, Khetri, Gudha, Udaipurwati and Chirawa. After continuous efforts, the police got information about the location of the accused and he was arrested from the hills of Ishqpura.
Singhana police station officer Sugan Singh said that in this case, reward was announced on both Vijay alias Mintu and Akash Gupta. The police were continuously searching for both the absconding accused.
Deadly attack on the night of 30 November
This incident happened between 1.30 and 2 am on the night of 30 November 2025. Complainant Sanjeev Saini told in the report that he was closing the gate of Krishna Marriage Garden. Then Akash Aggarwal, Birju Mawar, Mohan Gurjar and 5-6 others entered the garden with sticks and rods.
The attackers carried out a fatal attack on garden operator Mahendra Singh Saini, who is Sanjeev’s uncle. He suffered serious injuries on his head, hands, legs and back in the attack.
The youth who intervened, Pradeep s/o Belam Singh, resident of Pauri Garhwal (Uttarakhand), also sustained injuries on his head, hands and legs. Both were immediately admitted to the hospital.

Mahendra Singh Saini, who was seriously injured in the attack, was referred to Jaipur for better treatment. His treatment is still going on. This incident created a sensation in the area and increased security concerns among the people.
