Jimny SUV: Suzuki launches two new variants of Jimny, know features and off-road package
Jimny SUV: Suzuki has launched two new 3-door variants of its popular off-road SUV Jimny in Malaysia, Allgrip Plus and Rhino Plus. The company has priced Jimny Allgrip Plus at RM158,900 (about Rs 37.28 lakh) and Rhino Plus at RM173,900 (about Rs 40.80 lakh). The Jimny is fully imported in Malaysia, due to which its price is relatively high.
What’s new in Allgrip Plus?
Jimny Allgrip Plus has been introduced by the company as a new base variant, which will replace the old Allgrip Pro. Many advanced safety features have been added to the new model. It has lane departure warning, lane departure prevention, weaving alert and reverse camera with millimeter-wave radar.
Apart from this, the SUV has features like Dual Sensor Brake Support II (DSBS II), Adaptive Cruise Control, Automatic High Beam, Emergency Stop Signal and side and curtain airbags. Now a total of 6 airbags are also provided in it.
Features got better
- The new Jimny Allgrip Plus has a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, which supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Along with this, the facility of USB, Bluetooth, radio and AUX connectivity is also available.
- Features like electrically foldable and heated ORVMs, front-rear parking sensors and clearance sonar are also included in the SUV.
Rhino Plus will get extra style
The Rhino Plus variant gets all the features of the Allgrip Plus along with exclusive cosmetic updates like front grille garnish, underbody garnish, door visor, 15-inch polished alloy wheels, red mud flaps and Rhino-branded spare wheel cover.
No change in engine
Both variants have a 1.5-litre K15B VVT petrol engine, which generates 102PS of power and 130Nm of torque. It is provided with 4-speed automatic gearbox and 4WD system. The company is also giving 3 years or 1 lakh kilometer warranty on these models.
