Jinjja Chicken closes outlet at Singapore’s Changi Airport after 6 years

Fried chicken chain Jinjja Chicken has shut down its outlet at Changi Airport after six years, but hinted the opening of a new store.

The chain announced in an Instagram post last week, expressing appreciation to customers for their support over the years.

“To everyone who queued, craved, celebrated, and made memories with us over the last six years, thank you,” the caption read. “You didn’t just dine here, you built this space with us.”

Customers in eastern Singapore can still visit the brand’s outlet at Our Tampines Hub, which Jinjja Chicken said offers an expanded menu. The chain currently operates six restaurants.

Jinjja Chicken also teased the opening of another outlet scheduled for March 2026 and invited members of the public to guess its location in the comments. It hinted that the upcoming location starts with the letter “B.”

The chain serves crunchy deep-fried chicken with as variety of sauces, along with other South Korean dishes such as kimbap and spicy noodles.
