Jisoo has prioritized her acting career since founding her own company, Blisoo, in February. She just finished filming Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint, which stars her with well-known actors Lee Min Ho, Ahn Hyo Seop, and others. She will also co-star with Park Jeong Min in a brand-new K-drama called Newtopia. Furthermore, it was just revealed that Jisoo will co-star with Seo In Guk in the drama Monthly Boyfriend.
Jisoo has been getting ready to start performing as a solo artist again in the meantime. She has disclosed that her record will be out sooner than anticipated. Fans are excited to see what she will bring this time around after her solo debut in March was so successful, with her solo album ME and the title track FLOWER receiving a lot of positive reviews.
The members of BLACKPINK have focused on their separate endeavors this year since their exclusivity contracts with YG Entertainment ended. Rosé, Lisa, and Jennie have all been actively marketing themselves as solo performers. Rosé worked with Bruno Mars on the viral single APT, while Jennie gained popularity with Mantra. As the final member to go solo, there is a lot of interest in whether Jisoo will achieve the same level of success as her comrades.
