‘It is wrong to spread hysteria by building Babri…’, Modi’s minister’s big statement on laying the foundation of the mosque
Jitan Ram Manjhi Statement on Humayun Kabir Babri Masjid: Religious and political turmoil has suddenly intensified in West Bengal. The matter heated up when suspended TMC MLA Humayun Kabir laid the foundation of Babri Masjid in Beldanga. Now Union Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi has given a sharp reaction on this. On Sunday, Manjhi bluntly said that there is no harm in building a temple or a mosque, but if religious frenzy is being spread in the name of Babri Masjid, then it is completely wrong. His statement has sparked a new debate in the politics of the state.
On the other hand, while the foundation of the mosque was laid in Murshidabad, a different outpouring of faith was seen in Kolkata. Here about five lakh people collectively recited Gita together. This grand program was attended by senior BJP leaders like Dhirendra Shastri of Bageshwar Dham, Bengal Governor CV Anand Bose and Shubhendu Adhikari and Sukant Majumdar. Seeing the crowd, Dhirendra Shastri said that there is a scene like Maha Kumbh in Kolkata. He made it clear that in India we want Sanatani, not tension. Eternal unity is the biggest means of world peace.
sharp jibe at mosque construction
Union Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi’s statement comes after Humayun Kabir’s announcement, in which Kabir has talked about building it on the lines of Babri Masjid in Ayodhya. Manjhi clarified that faith has its place, but it is not right to poison the society through it. MLA Humayun Kabir has laid the foundation of the mosque on Saturday itself and has announced that he will perform ‘Quran Khwani’ with one lakh people in February. Kabir has also promised that a feast of meat and rice will be given to all those who come to the event and after this the construction of the mosque will begin.

Comments on Ram temple not tolerated
Dhirendra Shastri also expressed his opinion on laying the foundation of Babri Masjid in Beldanga. Speaking to news agency ANI, he said that if someone has faith in building a mosque, then he can do so, there is no fault in it. But he said in a warning tone that no one can comment on our Lord Ram. If questions are raised on the construction of our temple, their arrogance will be exposed. Meanwhile, Governor CV Anand Bose praised the youth reciting Geeta, calling it a matter of national pride and said that Bengal is now ready for its duty.
