JJ Lin’s romance with girlfriend 20 years his junior draws scrutiny amid two-timing allegations

According to Dimsum Daily, Mida posted on social media Dec. 30, 2025, a post with six vomiting emojis and a reference to a “cheater” who had urged her to keep their relationship private.

Netizens later circulated images said to show Mida with Lin at family birthday gatherings in 2019 and 2023, with backgrounds resembling settings previously shared on Lin’s own social media accounts.

These images fueled speculation that Mida and Lin may have been involved in a private relationship between 2019 and 2023. Mida was also seen liking posts that described Lin as “hypocritical,” further intensifying online debate.

Lin shared photos of himself and Annalisa celebrating his mother’s 70th birthday on Dec. 29, 2025, a gesture widely seen as signaling that the relationship had become serious, reported United Daily. His management company later said the singer was “happy in love” but had no plans to marry at this stage.

According to Taiwanese media reports, Lin met Annalisa through a mutual acquaintance in late 2023 and began dating her in mid-2024. The overlapping timelines prompted widespread discussion online over whether the relationships coincided.

Lin’s management agency has issued a denial of the allegations, stating that Lin and Mida were merely acquaintances introduced through a platform and denied any romantic involvement. The agency also challenged the dating of one widely shared image, saying the photo believed to have been taken in 2019 was actually shot in March 2023. It stressed that Lin’s relationship with Annalisa only became official in mid-2024 and did not overlap with any other relationship.

On Dec. 31, 2025, Lin addressed the controversy in a social media post, saying he had been subjected to what he described as “premeditated and coordinated smear campaigns,” and urging the public not to be misled by what he called a “false narratives.”
