Ranchi: All the parties have started preparations for the municipal elections in Jharkhand at the party level. On one hand, BJP held a meeting in the party office regarding the preparations for the municipal elections, while on the other hand, Jharkhand Mukti Morcha has also intensified its preparations. JMM’s central spokesperson and general secretary Vinod Kumar Pandey on Sunday got party membership to hundreds of people from Palamu district.

In the presence of Palamu JMM District President Rajendra Prasad Sinha, former Medininagar Council President Poonam Singh took membership of Jharkhand Mukti Morcha. It is believed that Poonam Singh will once again contest the election for the post of Municipal Council President. Those who took membership of JMM mainly included Poonam Singh, Suryansh Pratap Singh (former State Secretary Youth Congress), Azad Khan, Jitendra Singh, Raunak Singh, Surya Pratap Singh, Gyanendra Singh, Mo Firoz, Prateek Singh, Rudra Kumar, Krishna Kant, Imtiaz Ansari, Guddu Kumar, Roshan Kumar and many others. On this occasion, central member of the party from Palamu district cum district vice president Shanu Siddiqui, central member Haji Lalan, Ramesh Singh, Anurag Singh, Bablu Singh, Devanand Bhardwaj, Rishu Aggarwal were present.
