JMM sent a scathing message to the President against PM Modi, accused of stopping Hemant Soren's helicopter.

Ranchi: Jharkhand Mukti Morcha has written a letter to the President and sent a strong message against PM Modi and the Election Commission. According to the letter issued by JMM, due to Prime Minister Modi's program, the already scheduled program of Hemant Soren was delayed and the helicopter was stopped.

JMM wrote that “Jharkhand Mukti Morcha's star campaigner and present Honorable Chief Minister of the state Mr. Hemant Soren ji had an election meeting held at 15:15 pm in Gudari block under West Singhbhum district, which ended at 01:45 pm. But after the end, the second meeting was sure to be held at Bazaartand ground in Simdega district at 02:25 pm and was permitted by the Election Commission of India. Today itself, Bharatiya Janata Party's star campaigner and current Honorable Prime Minister of the country Shri Narendra Modi had an election public meeting at Chaibasa College ground at 02.40 pm. The distance from Chaibasa to Gudri is about 80 kilometers and the distance from Gudri to Simdega is about 90 kilometers. The campaign helicopter of our campaigner Shri Hemant Soren, used for campaigning, was stopped from flying for more than one and a half hours over a distance of about 150 kilometers citing the security of the Prime Minister. It was stated by the Election Commission that from the security point of view of the Prime Minister, a flying zone of 50 kilometers in diameter and of 15 minutes will be implemented.

Accusing PM Modi and the Election Commission, JMM wrote that “she is the first citizen of India as well as the head of the supreme constitutional authority. The Election Commission of India is also an independent and impartial institution under the Constitution. We fully respect our Election Commission and follow all its guidelines. Our Chief Minister comes from a tribal tribal community. Even today the tribals belong to the tribal community and have reached this highest position through their hard struggle. We expect from you through this collective application that you will definitely ensure that every possibility of the concerned tribal people's representatives is kept intact in the constitutional protection and respect and that all the star campaigners of the political party get special opportunities and “The provisions should be kept the same.”
