JNU said- accountability to our government
JNU said in a post on social media X that JNU is a public university and hence is accountable to the government, Parliament and Indian taxpayers. It is very bad that a woman OBC Vice Chancellor is being attacked with false allegations, just to divert attention from the issue of violence and vandalism of public property.
The university said that this student union is avoiding talking about the core issue of their expulsion, damage to public property within the campus and violence. According to the administration, after proctorial investigation, the students concerned were found responsible and action was taken on that basis.
