According to a recent report, one out of every three dating app users has used these platforms to search for jobs, referrals and interviews. This trend has emerged at a time when competition in the job market has increased and the increasing use of AI has created uncertainty about the future.

Shocking reality revealed in the survey

In a survey conducted in America, many participants said that this method adopted on dating apps proved beneficial for them. According to the survey, 39 percent people said that they arranged interviews directly through dating apps. At the same time, 37 percent of the participants claimed that they have also received job offers through this method. These figures show that the use of dating apps for career is no longer just an experiment but is becoming an emerging option.

Why are job seekers moving towards dating apps?

42 percent of the people surveyed believe that finding jobs on other platforms has become more difficult than ever. Thousands and lakhs of applications are already available on online job portals, due to which the resume of the candidates gets lost somewhere in the crowd. Additionally, many companies are now using AI tools for initial screening, due to which even qualified candidates may be missed by the system.
