Jodhpur: Trader attacked in market, legs broken, search for accused
In Jodhpur, 55-year-old businessman Tilok Chand was attacked by his fellow market traders. He was seriously injured. The police started searching for the accused, while the traders of the market protested by closing the gates.
Jodhpur: Tilok Chand, who was selling vegetables in Bhadwasiya Mandi, was attacked at 11:30 pm on Sunday. He was busy with his work at the time of the incident. Then two people, Ashok Chaudhary and Prakash Fauji came from behind with their companions. He suddenly attacked Tilok.
Tilok tried to run away to save his life, but the attackers surrounded him. As soon as he fell on the ground, the attackers continued attacking him with iron pipes and kicks. Tilok suffered serious head injuries and both his legs were broken in the attack.

Hearing the voice of the injured businessman, nearby people reached the spot. Before anyone could intervene, the attackers fled from the spot. CCTV footage of the incident has also surfaced, in which the entire incident of the attack has been captured.

Mahamandir police station officer Devendra Singh Deora said that all the accused involved in the attack are businessmen of Mandi. Police said it could be the result of a personal dispute. At present all the accused are absconding and their search is on.
After the incident, the traders of the market angrily protested by closing the gate of Bhadwasiya market. He demanded arrest of the accused and ensure safety of traders.

Tilok Chand’s brother Tarachand told the police in the report that there was already an altercation going on between his brother and the accused. Due to the same dispute, a fatal attack was made on the businessman.
Mahamandir police station is investigating the case and is collecting information from CCTV footage, witnesses and people nearby. Police have assured that the accused will be arrested soon.
