Jordan Cox and Deepti Sharma Lead Star-Studded List For The Hundred 2026 Auction

The Hundred 2026 auction has taken centre stage with the release of expansive longlists, featuring 247 men’s and 178 women’s players vying for a spot in the competition.

Several star-studded players like Jonny Bairstow, Haris Rauf, David Miller, Aiden Makram and Jordan Cox have been named in the marquee in the men’s list who will be auctioned first.

With the auction set to be played on March 11 and 12, which will be held in phases, the top 50 players will be up for grabs in Phase 1, while the rest of the players will feature in Phases 2 and 3.

Several international stars are set to be in the spotlight, including players in the 2026 Men’s T20 World Cup in its final stages.

A total of 19 players from Australia, 18 from South Africa, 14 from Pakistan, 13 from New Zealand, 7 from Afghanistan, 4 from Pakistan, 4 each from Sri Lanka and West Indies, 3 from Zimbabwe, 2 each from USA, Scotland and Bangladesh and one from UAE.

However, no Indians have registered for the men’s auction, while 12 women cricketers have registered for the auction.

The men’s list released by the ECB last month features 63 Pakistani players among the 710 names who registered for the auction, and teams were asked to submit the list of 75-100 that they were most interested in signing by the end of last week.

However, England test captain Ben Stokes did not register for the auction. He will be focusing on his preparations for the test series against Pakistan, which will begin after the Hundred final.

Moeen Ali, who reversed his decision on retiring from England domestic cricket to sign for Yorkshire in the Blast, was absent from the longlist.

The Hundred will be played between July 21 and August 16 this year, with private investors involved in the tournament for the first time. Three teams have been rebranded due to IPL links – MI London, Sunrisers Leeds and Manchester Super Giants.
