Joy of UP workers! Yogi government will open the box of happiness on May 1

Lucknow: Yogi government of Uttar Pradesh is bringing a very good news for lakhs of laborers and workers of the state. Keeping in mind the interests of the workers, the government is preparing for many big decisions, which can be announced on the occasion of May 1 i.e. ‘May Day’. This time the special focus of the government is on improving the living standards of lakhs of laborers working in big industrial areas like Noida, Greater Noida and Ghaziabad.

According to sources, on the instructions of the Chief Minister, a high-level committee has been formed which is finalizing these schemes in collaboration with different departments. The aim of the government is not just to provide help on paper, but to provide basic facilities like health, housing to the workers and good education for children at the ground level.

Now there will be no tension about treatment The government seems to be very serious about the health of the workers. Work is underway on a plan to build a new ESI hospital in Greater Noida, so that industrial workers and their families will not have to run from pillar to post for treatment. Apart from this, special camps will be organized for laborers engaged in construction work where their Ayushman cards will be made, so that in case of any serious illness, they can get free treatment up to Rs 5 lakh.

Cheap hostels and study facilities The biggest challenges for laborers working in cities are shelter and children’s education. Yogi government is now considering building safe and affordable ‘hostels’ for workers in industrial areas. At the same time, to improve the future of their children, admission on priority basis and presence of better teachers will be ensured in local schools.

Wages will increase and social security will be available To protect workers from the brunt of inflation, the government has already increased the minimum wage rates. Now the news is that preparations are underway to form a new ‘Wage Board’, which will make the wage structure even better and transparent. Along with this, a state-wide campaign will also be launched to make the workers aware of their legal rights and government schemes.
