JSSC CGL Exam Analysis 2024: Check day 1 paper review here
New Delhi: The Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission conducted the JSSC CGL 2024 day 1 exam today, September 21. The exam was held in a total of three shifts. Paper 1 was from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM, paper 2 from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM and paper 3 from 3 PM to 5 PM. Candidates who appeared in the exam today, reviewed the paper to be moderate to high in terms of difficulty level. The JSSC CGL 2024 exam is scheduled to be held for two days- September 21 and September 22.
Jharkhand CGL Exam Analysis 2024: Difficulty Level
The difficulty level of each paper is detailed in the table below-

Each of the papers was held for a duration of two hours. Paper 1 (language) had a total of 120 questions, paper 2 (regional or tribal language) had 100 questions and paper 3 (general knowledge) had 150 questions.
JSSC CGL Paper 1 focuses on language proficiency in both Hindi and English. This section had multiple-choice objective questions on unseen passages and grammar. Paper 2 assesses the candidates’ proficiency in a regional or selected language. Paper 3 was divided into six sections and the questions were asked about general science, general studies, reasoning, quantitative aptitude, general knowledge and computer skills.
JSSC CGL marking scheme
As per the JSSC CGL marking scheme for Papers 1, 2, and 3-
- For every correct answer, three marks will be awarded to the candidate.
- For every wrong attempt, one mark will be deducted.
