Europa Clipper will reach Jupiter's satellite Europa in 2030

Raipur/Read. Spacecraft Europa Clipper: On Monday, America's space agency NASA launched a spacecraft named Europa Clipper from Kennedy Space Center in Florida for Jupiter and its moon Europa. This spacecraft will shed light on the frozen ocean floor beneath the icy crust of Jupiter's satellite Europa in the search for life beyond Earth.

When this spacecraft (Spacecraft Europa Clipper) flew to Europa, one of the 95 known satellites of Jupiter, it also carried the dreams of 26 lakh people into space in a silicon chip. Where the silicon chip kept in Europa Clipper touched the heights along with the names of 26 lakh people, taking with it the names of 30 children, teachers and the outgoing District Magistrate of Jashpur, Dr. Ravi Mittal.

In this regard, subject expert Vivek Pathak of Navsankalp Educational Institute said that along with NASA's spacecraft Europa Clipper, the names of children of Jashpur have also gone on a journey with the spacecraft to Jupiter's satellite Europa (Spacecraft Europa Clipper). Through this, the district administration is trying to increase children's interest in science subjects and motivate them for the applications of science and make them aware of the amazing knowledge of space science.

Even before this, the names of hundreds of children of the district were sent to Mars by silicon chip through the Perseverance Rover. It is known that Europa Clipper will pass close to Mars early next year and then pass near Earth in late 2026 and reach Jupiter's moon Europa in 2030.

In this regard, Gamhariya student Akanksha Tirkey said that it is a matter of pride for all of us that the names of me and my colleagues are now reaching Jupiter's satellite Europa in space. We never imagined even in our dreams that our name would also reach space. With our name we feel as if we too have reached space. We thank Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai and the district administration for giving us this opportunity for this initiative.

Student Preeti Nirala said that till today we had seen Jupiter through a telescope from the ground, now whenever we see Jupiter in the sky, we will proudly tell everyone that even 290 crore km away from here, our name has gone on Jupiter's Europa satellite. Is. For this we are grateful to Chhattisgarh government and district administration.
