Just do maths, Madhuri Dixit gave a befitting reply to pregnancy rumors during the song Dola Re Dola.
Bollywood’s ‘Dhak Dhak Girl’ Madhuri Dixit is known for her excellent acting as well as excellent dance. His jugalbandi with late choreographer Saroj Khan has given many iconic songs to Hindi cinema. But for the last few days, a strange claim regarding the superhit song ‘Dola Re Dola’ from the film ‘Devdas’ was going viral on social media. Now Madhuri Dixit herself has broken her silence on this entire matter and has given a befitting reply to those spreading rumours. Saroj Khan’s associate had claimed pregnancy. Actually, a few days ago, Saroj Khan’s former associate Rubina Khan had claimed in an interview that Madhuri Dixit was four months pregnant during the shooting of the song ‘Dola Re Dola’. Rubina said that there was a spin step in the song, which Madhuri was facing a lot of difficulty in doing. She also had fever and was feeling tired due to pregnancy, due to which the shooting got extended from 9 am to 10 pm. Madhuri Dixit’s befitting reply: ‘You do the maths yourself’ When Madhuri Dixit was asked about this claim, she rubbished this rumor in a very natural and funny manner. Madhuri said laughingly, "My elder son Arin was born in the year 2003, so do some maths yourself."
The simple meaning of this answer of the actress is that the film ‘Devdas’ was released in the year 2002 and its shooting was completed much before that, whereas her son was born in 2003. In such a situation, her claim of being pregnant during the shooting proves to be completely baseless and wrong. Why was the experience of shooting ‘Dola Re Dola’ difficult? Along with rejecting the talk of pregnancy, Madhuri also mentioned the real problems she was facing at that time. He told, "I was traveling a lot at that time. I would come straight to the shooting set, give my shot and go back. The biggest thing was that all my shoots were taking place in the night shift. Because of this, the entire experience was physically very tiring and difficult for me."
After marriage, Madhuri Dixit married Dr. Shriram Nene in 1999, after which she shifted to Denver, America. When she started working again after marriage, she continued to travel between America and Mumbai. ‘Devdas’ was her last big film before the birth of her sons—Arin and Ryan Nene—after which she devoted time to her family. The song ‘Dola Re Dola’, filmed on Madhuri Dixit as Chandramukhi and Aishwarya Rai as Paro in the film ‘Devdas’, is still considered one of the best dance numbers of Indian cinema, which was composed by Ismail Darbar and voiced by Kavita Krishnamurthy, Shreya Ghoshal and KK.
