New Delhi. The special court of the Sessions Court of Mumbai has given a clean chit to the former Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra, late Ajit Pawar. Deputy Chief Minister has been given clean chit in the Rs 25 thousand crore scam case. The former Deputy Chief Minister was named in an alleged scam of Rs 25,000 crore related to Maharashtra State Co-operative Bank. Let us tell you that the court has accepted the closure report of the Economic Offenses Wing of Mumbai Police. In this report, late former Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra Ajit Pawar was given a clean chit. Along with Ajit Pawar, the court has also given clean chit to his wife and Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Sunetra Pawar.

Let us tell you that Special Judge Mahesh Jadhav approved the C summary report of EOW. During this, the court said that no criminal offense has been proven in the case. The court admitted that the FIR was registered against Ajit Pawar by misrepresenting the facts. When the matter was investigated, the allegations could not be confirmed. Ajit Pawar’s wife and Deputy Chief Minister Sunetra Pawar has also got relief from this decision of the court. Let us tell you that in the investigation of EOW, Ajit Pawar’s wife and Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Sunetra Pawar has also been found innocent. The investigating agency did not find any concrete evidence to prosecute. After this the investigating agency had filed the closure report in the court.
In this case, the court has also rejected the petition of social activist Anna Hazare and other petitioners. All the petitioners had accused the former Deputy Chief Minister that the agency had ignored many important aspects during the investigation. Even after this the court did not accept these arguments.
